Why Attend?
Headshot of Elizabeth England
"I love BitCurator Users Forums! Despite not being a BitCurator user anymore, it's still so fun and welcoming! Last year's virtual conference struck a great balance of not being too long each day + getting in SO MUCH good stuff."
- Elizabeth England, Digital Preservation Specialist, U.S. National Archives & Records Administration
Headshot of Alex Chassanoff
"The BitCurator Users Forum provides a unique opportunity for practitioners and archival educators to get together, work on contemporary issues and pain points in the born-digital landscape, and learn new things! As a graduate student and now a faculty member, I have always claimed BUF as my favorite conference because of this mix."
-Alex Chassanoff, Assistant Professor, North Carolina Central University
Headshot of Lourdes Johnson
"Attending the BitCurator Users Forum conference is essential for learning while connecting which colleagues. I value an inclusive and supportive community of professionals who collectively innovate with solutions that will inspire my work."
-Lourdes Johnson, Digital Archivist, University of Miami

About the BitCurator Users Forum

The BitCurator Users Forum brings together representatives from libraries, archives, museums, and related information professions engaged in or considering digital archival work to acquire, better understand, and make available born-digital materials. The three-day forum will balance discussion of theory and practice of digital archiving and related digital analysis workflows with hands-on activities for users at all levels of experience with digital archival methods in general, including the BitCurator environment, and other tools for use in digital analysis and curation.
