I did my first paint party a few years back as a fundraiser for a local youth group. I’m not a particularly wonderful artist so I was apprehensive about how much I’d enjoy the class but I knew it would be fun with friends so I tried something new. To my surprise, the art instructor made it so simple and my donkey painting ended up turning out kind of cute. I was amazed and proud. Later, myself and Farmer Nathan did a couples paint class with the same instructor with similar success. This gave us the idea to invite this wonderful instructor out to the farm to lead a class here.

Farm Paint Party?

In May, 2021 we held a painting event here on the farm lead by Katie Hook, our local art instructor buddy. It was such a great time & her instruction did not disappoint! We painted a goat kid on a canvas and then we hung with the farm animals. It was kind of awesome.

We’re planning to do another class this fall. Now you can join us on the farm to paint your own rooster canvas masterpiece. Here is the sample painting:

The class will start at noon and last roughly 2 hrs. Everything needed to create your canvas is included, plus a farm fresh cinnamon roll and bottled water are also included to keep you going during your class. After the class is finished you will get to take photos with the farm animals in our special access area.

Goat Yoga is Fun!

Goat Yoga takes place on our farm each spring and fall and it is a blast! Goats are by nature curious, affectionate, playful and athletic. They love to jump, climb and investigate what is new. Goat yoga is simply a yoga class with young goats springing on and around the participants. It will get you up close and personal with goats for selfies or even a goat balance or two…

Goat yoga is a unique outdoor experience to do with a friend plus you can shop the farm afterward! We will have our mums and pumpkins for sale plus fall vendors, food and our own farm merchandise to browse following the goat yoga event.

Did you know our farm is open to the public every Saturday from 9am-2pm during the summer? We will also have extended hours on Saturdays & Sundays in October from 10-4pm.
