Hi everyone,

Hope you’re doing well this week!

What a quality time it was on Sunday! I’m loving being back together again and am really looking forward to preaching this Sunday. It’s a full-on term ahead and so below are some important updates for us.

Kids, Youth and Tea & Coffee

We are getting back to normal more and more each week. We are pleased that we are now able to offer Kids’ Work every week from this Sunday and from October we are hopefully going to be able to have some Youth work up and running again.

Not only that, but we will have tea & coffee during the break between both meetings and soon, after the 11.30 service as well.

Prayer

With all that’s going on, it's never been more important than it currently is to be a prayerful people. To that end, there are three ways we are going to push into prayer as a site this term. Why not get involved?

  1. Monthly prayer gatherings – The first Wednesday of the month in October, November and December we will get together at the church building to pray.

  2. In October I’m going to be hosting our Friday morning prayer meeting again. It will be 7-8am at the building to call on God and pray for the church.

  3. Every Sunday morning from October there will be a prayer meeting at 8.45-9.15am before the Sunday service to pray for the meeting at the church.
There will be a one-church prayer meeting this coming Wednesday. It will be online via Zoom and you join via the website on the evening.

Groups restart

It’s great that the new groups term begins soon, on the week commencing Sunday 3rd October. The details are all up on the website and there's a really good variety of groups this term. You can find out more and sign up here.
Are you going to university for the first time this Autumn? Are you an existing student?

If you are then we would love to invite you to come and hang out via Zoom as we chat about how to get the most out of university experience while still living for Jesus. We really think this meeting will help and encourage you so try your best to get involved.

This event is on Saturday 18th September from 2-4pm.

Serving

Lastly, as we return, we’re keen for as many people to serve as possible. Let’s all get involved as we rebuild the site together. If you’re not already serving, and are interested in serving in some capacity, please email Lynsey and let us know.

Well, that’s all from me. Have a great weekend.

Every Blessing,

Joe
