NASH EXHIBIT OPENS TODAY

Come visit us starting today and grab your FREE catalogue featuring David Feinberg's exhibition, Divide Up Those in Darkness from the Ones Who Walk in the Light. The catalogue features writing from Howard Oransky, Christine Baeumler, David Feinberg, Mathew Zefeldt, Petra Johnita Lommen, and Luis Ramos-Garcia. It also features a chronological list of all Voice to Vision artists and collaborators from 2002 to present. The catalogue and exhibit graphics are designed by MFA '19 alum Emily Swanberg.

The Katherine E. Nash Gallery is FREE and open to the public. Our gallery hours are Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and Saturdays from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. No appointment needed, just come on over!

  • Biafra Inc. featured in Chroma Zone Artists Exhibit and Pop-Up Shop
    BFA alum Biafra Inc. is included in an exhibit featuring local Chroma Zone artists and alumni in the newly renovated Building C (former King Koil factory) at Vandalia Tower. Meet the artists, shop for art and prints, and join us in celebrating another successful year of the Chroma Zone Mural & Festival in the Creative Enterprise Zone (CEZ) on Thursday, September 23rd from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Vandalia Tower. This event is produced in partnership with NewStudio Architecture & Gallery.

     
  • Steve Rowell announced as a 2021/2022 MacDowell Fellow
    Lecturer Steve Rowell will participate in the 2021/2022 MacDowell Artist Residency this coming winter and will be editing a moving image work during the residency period.

     
  • Gabrielle Grier featured in Star Tribune and on WCCO about new JXTA campus
    BA alum Gabrielle Grier was featured in the Star Tribune and  WCCO discussing the groundbreaking for the new JXTA building complex. Grier is the Managing Director of Juxtaposition Arts.

     
  • Brooklyn Rail hosts Second Shift Studio panel with Chris Larson | SEPT 16 at 12:00 PM CST 
    Second Shift Studio Space board members Chris Larson, Jenifer Newsom, Tina Tavera, and Kriss Zulkosky join resident artists Roshan Ganu and Shen Xin for an online conversation with artist, critic, and curator Andrew Woolbright this coming Thursday, September 16th at 12:00 PM CST. Second Shift Studio Space is a nonprofit residency program and art space serving people marginalized due to gender identity. Register at Brooklyn Rail for the zoom link.
