Virtual Source-To-Tap Training (ST3) series offers training for everyone!

HQP and Network members can look forward to an engaging fall with a stellar line up of training webinars available throughout October and November. 'ST3' refers to the annual Source-To-Tap Training week which would normally be held in-person. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year will be virtual and feature topics that were underrepresented in the past. The schedule to date includes the following one-hour seminars, all times in EST:

October
  • Downstream propagation of contaminants with Mike Stone & Jason Leach from Natural Resources Canada (Oct. 6 @ 2pm)
  • Rural, remote, & marginalized communities with Sarah Dickson-Anderson & Corinne Schuster-Wallace (Oct. 14 @ 1pm)
  • Drinking water treatability with Monica Emelko (Oct. 20 @ 1pm)
  • Resource economics with Roy Brouwer (Oct. 27, time tba)
November
  • Forest planning process in Alberta with Kirk Hawthorn & Mike Wagner from the Alberta Government (date tba)
  • Streamflow measurement with Chris Williams & Erin Cherlet (date tba) 
  • Improving research impact with Knowledge Mobilization with Elanor Waslander and Katrina Hitchman from Canadian Water Network (Nov. 16 @ 1pm)
