Thanks to everyone who coordinated and participated in last Sunday's wonderful celebration of Breaking Bread & Burgers & Brats AND Baptism.
Nearly 10,000 Afghan refugees have arrived at Fort McCoy near Sparta, most of them with only the clothes they are wearing. Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse is one of the lead agencies in offering temporary assistance to the refugees. Gathering need items is more feasible for Catholics in the southern part of the diocese, but financial assistance is certainly needed and welcome. Click on this image to make an online contribution.
If you’re interested in learning more about Jesus, the Church, becoming a Catholic Christian and what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, we’d love to talk with you.  Please contact Lee Ann Lella, disciple formation co-director.
Or, if you know someone who might appreciate a bit of encouragement or an invitation in terms of becoming a Catholic Christian, please extend that invitation and encouragement to them.
This invitation is for people who may not be baptized, as well as those who were baptized in another Christian tradition, but are interested in becoming Catholic.  Also, if you are Catholic and are interested in celebrating confirmation, please contact Lee Ann.
Jesus sent the apostles to “make disciples” of all nations. To learn more about how you can honor that instruction and make a difference in the lives of young disciples, watch the video at left, and contact one of our co-directors of disciple formation: John Schmitt or Lee Ann Lella.
