Reminder: HOPWA COVID-19 Waivers Webinar – September 17, 2021 – 12:00 PM EDT

Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) grantees and project sponsors are invited to register for the upcoming webinar on September 17, 2021 from 12:00 – 1:30 PM EDT. This webinar will address available HOPWA regulatory waivers to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and will help to facilitate providing assistance to eligible households economically impacted by COVID-19.

Training Objectives

Participants will learn about:

  • Available HOPWA regulatory waivers and their expiration dates
  • Recommended procedures for ensuring preparedness for waiver expiration while maintaining safety protocols and providing stability for clients
  • HOPWA program flexibilities provided by HUD in response to the COVID-19 pandemic

This webinar will also feature a Q&A session with HOPWA Technical Assistance (TA) providers as well as leaders from HUD's Office of HIV/AIDS Housing.

  • Subscribe to the HUD Exchange listserv for information and guidance produced by HUD technical assistance providers regarding the HOPWA program.

HOPWA grantees and interested stakeholders should consider subscribing both to the HUD.gov mailing list and HUD Exchange mailing list.
