Hello everyone and welcome to Autumn,
The moment has at last arrived and we are very excited to officially relaunch our Membership programme which will allow all unpaid carers to be a member of Gateshead Carers Association and to have more of a voice in the future of our organisation, which was first set up and run by carers for carers over 25 years ago! We look forward to welcoming you as a member.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed and helped us to gather together some wonderful recollections and achievements, both personally and for the organisation in celebration of our 25 years of being a registered charity here in Gateshead. Our 25 Years Celebration Book will be launched very soon along with our Community Cookbook. In fact, we plan to launch them both at our AGM to be held on Friday 26th November at Bensham Grove Community Centre. Tickets for our AGM are limited so please book now to avoid disappointment. If you are unable to attend in person you will still be able to join us through our Live stream on the day.

It is so wonderful to hear Ian's journey of wellbeing and how both the CALM sessions and our virtual Carer Café have become a part of his life and how new friendships have been formed along the way.
