With so much getting started this month, we wanted to send a follow-up newsletter and make sure you don't miss out on any of the happenings:
Last chance: TREC Teacher Survey--complete it today! Over 750 teachers have completed the TREC 2021 Survey. If you haven't yet, make sure to complete it before it closes on Monday, September 20th at 9am.
School/District Administrator Survey: If you are a school or district administrator, we'd love your feedback on the TREC website. Please share your thoughts/perspective before Monday, September 27th, 2021.
Sign up for a Communities of Practice (CoPs): We had a great CoP Information Session in early September. These CoPs will reach across districts and bring together educators to broaden their professional learning and build upon their knowledge and expertise. There are still a few spots open in the following CoPs: Onward Book Study on Educator Emotional Resilience; Trauma-Informed Educator CoP; Leading While Female CoP; Visual Art CoP.Sign up to join a CoP here.
We are distributing TREC Posters to schools and districts. You should see one in your school soon. If not, let us know, and we will get you a poster or two!
Finally, to support all of this work, we will begin holding a regular Time with TREC, Mondays from 4:00 - 5:00pm, beginning September 27th. This will be a time to connect about TREC efforts, including the website. You can register for the 9/27 Time with TREC here.

Join a TREC-led Community of Practice
Join TREC Teacher Leaders in a year long Community of Practice (CoP) for the 2021-2022 school year. These CoPs will reach across districts, bringing together educators (birth - 12th grade) to expand their professional learning by building upon their knowledge and expertise. We had a great info session, as Teacher Leaders outlined and explain the various opportunities. You can watch the info session video here.
