Thursday Folk Dancing Program

In-person folk dancing at Walnut Road Elementary School (16152 - 82 Ave Surrey) is starting this Thursday September 16. Please note a time change - we will dance from 7:30 to 9:30 pm (doors open 7 pm).
Enter the gym through the doors at the rear of the building.

To keep everyone safe, we are required to follow a Safety Plan. The last page is included farther down in this email. Please note that all participants will be asked to show proof of vaccination (both shots). You can show us your paper vaccine card or your vaccine passport on your phone. We will also ask you to sign consent to provide contact information to the Fraser Health Authority should contact tracing be required. Everyone will wear a mask and dance socially distanced, without holding hands. If you have any COVID symptoms or are not feeling well, please wait until you are better before joining us.

We will choose dances from the list below! Lots to choose from!
Bring or email surreyfolkdance@gmail.com with additional requests.

Remember that no food or beverages are allowed in the gym except your personal water bottle.

Looking forward to dancing with you in the gym tomorrow evening!
Normally the annual fee for the whole year of dancing is $80, until December is $35,
or you can pay drop-in for $4 each time you come.

However, because our 2019/20 season was cut short, anyone who was a member at that time, will get a $25 discount on your 2021/22 season fees.

If this is your first time, dance for free!
Complete fees list here.

Membership and drop-in fees pay for hall rental, insurance, and incidental expenses.
