Sign Up to become a COVID-19 vaccine provider & talk to your patients about the vaccine today!

Healthcare providers, you are the most trusted source of information for your patients’ health decisions. Your strong recommendation to get a COVID-19 vaccine is one of the most important factors in your patients’ decision to accept vaccination.

In order to provide COVID-19 vaccines, you must have a number of agreements in place with NMDOH and the CDC. NMDOH has provided this portal to digitally complete, sign, and submit the required documentation.

HSD Update
HSD has directed the MCOs to identify a project lead to facilitate regular meetings and keep track of a log issue/resolution spreadsheet.  Starting on October 5, 2021, MCOs will hold these meetings with their contracted NFs on the first and third Tuesday of the month.  The times are specified with each MCO and range from 10:00-11:00, 11:00-12:00, and 1:00-2:00, respectively.

By September 22, 2021, MCOs will send out the meeting invites, along with the attached NF Agenda Item Request template, with brief instructions on how to submit their agenda items. NFs should send their agenda topics via this template to Jeannette Gurule, Long-Term Services and Supports Deputy Bureau Chief, jeannette.c.gurule@state.nm.us and Tallie Tolen, Tallie.Tolen@state.nm.us
by 5:00 pm on the Tuesday prior to the scheduled meeting.  HSD will gather the agenda topics and email them to the applicable MCO by 12:00 p.m. on the Friday before the scheduled meeting.

 Got Text?
NMHCA/NMCAL rolled out our newest member service—text notifications--earlier this year. This allows us to send you a text to let you know when something important is released, such as new guidance, a data collection request, etc. While this information is typically sent out in the Bulletin, we understand that you may not always have time to read through them to determine what is important for you or sometimes, you might simply forget it came out when you have time to go through your emails. A text will serve as a reminder that there is something that may need your attention. Save the number, (833) 589-0341, in your phone as NMHCA/NMCAL so you don't miss a thing

Members need to opt in to be included, so if you or anyone in your facility would like to receive text notices, please email cell phone numbers, names, and titles to NMHCA/NMCAL at nmhca@nmhca.org

Long-term Care Poster
NMHCA/NMCAL developed the attached poster to assist facilities in communicating the differences in guidance and direction for assisted living and nursing facilities from the general public. We invite you to print as many copies as you'd like and post them around the areas or send them to families, so they have a clear understanding of the guidance you are required to follow.
