Valencia Newsletter October 7, 2021
Dear Valencia Families,
Just a few important dates and announcements for you:
Your participation for a 15 minute online survey is being requested in order for us to improve our school. We have asked YouthTruth – a nonprofit organization that supports hundreds of schools and districts across the county – to conduct an anonymous survey on our behalf.
Please take the survey before it closes at midnight on Friday, 10/29/21 by clicking this link: ytsurvey.org/pvusdfamily21.
Please note:
The survey needs to be completed in one sitting.
We ask that one member of each household fill out the survey.
If you have more than one child who attends the same school, you may respond to the survey multiple times - one time per child.
If you write any comments, please do not include your name oranything else that might identify you. Your responses are anonymous, and they will be combined with the responses of other parents and guardians before being shared back with school anddistrict leadership.

Valencia will continue on-campus Surveillance and Exposure Non-Symptomatic Testing with Inspire Diagnostics next week. Our weekly testing days are Mondays and Thursdays. If you haven't done so already please register your student(s) and give consent for testing and complete the Google Form that notes the test(s) you are consenting for (surveillance, exposure, or both).
Drive for Schools Final Stretch:
Last day to turn in tickets is next Thursday, October 14th by 3pm
Total Tickets Sold - 3,409
Funds Raised - $14,350
Goal - $25,000
We are getting closer to hitting our goal, but we only have until next Thursday, October 14th to sell more tickets!
If you haven’t turned in your tickets yet, please do so ASAP. It makes life so much easier and less stressful for our dutiful H&SC volunteers.
100% of all ticket sales go directly to Valencia. The money we raise pays for our reading programs, it puts computers in our classrooms, it supports our garden, art, and science programs, and much, much more. Even if you only sell 1 ticket, that $5 makes a big difference.
