Welcome to this special edition of our newsletter marking the opening of Round 12 of the Cooperative Research Centres Project (CRC-P) grants. This round reflects some of the biggest challenges facing Australia today, with projects addressing mRNA-based therapeutics and low emission technologies added to its targets.

The round opened today and will close on 16 November at 5pm AEDT, with matched grants of between $100,000 and $3 million available for collaborative projects up to three years.

Round 12 is open to all industry sectors, but as with Round 11 has a focus on projects that are aligned with the National Manufacturing Priorities, as well as mRNA-based therapeutics and the priority technologies under the Technology Investment Roadmap. More detail on the round is included in this newsletter below, including links to the Department’s information pages.

We’ll be hosting a free information session on Round 12 on Tuesday, 12 October at 2 pm AEDT, where you will have the chance to hear from the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, as well as successful applicants from previous CRC-P rounds.
