It’s time to send your items for the next newsletter!
Please read carefully and reply to Veronica Ortegon Primeaux at newsletter@creativeartssociety.org by October 17, 2021. (You can also reply directly to this email.)
 

TO SUBMIT ARTICLES:
 
Send your short articles, announcements and images for the next CAS newsletter to me, Veronica, at the above email address.
 
PLEASE NOTE: What you send will be copied and pasted directly into the newsletter. 

• Proof your text; make sure it makes sense and is written in complete sentences.

• Do not send evites, links to online items, PDFs, social media or long documents with embedded images. However, you may send a link to the gallery hosting your work, workshop or similar event or publication.

• Check that your content includes: 

  • Your name

  • All of the information you want to share and working links, if any. Please contact the Newsletter Editor if you have questions or need a proof reader.

  • Pictures (Please size JPG or PNG files to LESS than 1MB. Refer to https://www.creativeartssociety.org/knowledge-sharing/resizing-your-photographs, if you need help with this.)

 
Here’s what we want to know:
1.  If you have:

• Sold art (what, where, when);

• Won an art prize/award (what, where, when);

• Been juried into or are showing at a non-CAS art event or venue. (CAS-event information is provided by the Exhibits Chairs.)

 
2.  If you are teaching an art class or conducting a workshop, tell us what, where and when, as well as how to contact you for further information. (This does not include ongoing programs.)
 
3.  If you are new to CAS, please send a brief (100 words) bio or statement, so we can get to know you. A picture of you and samples of your artwork would be nice to include. (Only send JPG or PNG images of LESS than 1MB.)
 
4.  If you want to share anything in our TIPS, TRICKS and LINKS section, please send the essential information or contact me if you'd like help to submit one for a future newsletter. 

The TIPS, TRICKS and LINKS section is where we share information, such as resources, business tips, supplies, online sites, our favorite blogs, opportunities, and anything art related!
