Info-webinar: Successful webinar promotes mobility program

On Monday, October 4, Nordic Energy Research hosted a webinar targeting potential applicants for the Nordic or Nordic-Baltic PhD and Researcher Mobility Program 2022-24.

Senior Adviser Kevin Johnsen and Adviser Nicki Carnbrand Håkansson explained about the program – and the 42 participants were guided how to submit a successful proposal.

Kick-off meeting: Nordic Energy Outlooks

The Nordic Energy Outlooks – Nordic Energy System Research Program (NEOs) held its kick-off meeting on Friday, October 1.

27 participants from all the participating Nordic projects attended the meeting.

SINTEF Energy Research leads the program, and at the kick-off meeting the research program was presented by Siri Mathisen and Ove Wolfgang, who both work for SINTEF.

The presentation was followed by an active Q&A from the participants, and all the funded Work Packages in the program were presented by the respective Work Package Leaders

Meet the employees at Nordic Energy Research

Klaus Skytte was raised in the countryside of Denmark and since childhood he has always been interested in renewable energy and climate.

“Our neighbour had a windmill on his lot that I was greatly fascinated by – to see how the force of the wind drove the wings around and created electricity, which could be used in the household,” Klaus Skytte, CEO at Nordic Energy Research, explains in the interview.
