New York City Council Passes Legislation to Transition to Electric School Buses by 2035
In a major victory for New York's school children, the New York City Council has passed Intro 455-2018 Version A, a bill that will require that school buses serving New York City public schools be all-electric by September 1, 2035! New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is expected to sign the legislation into law, having already pledged his support for the measure, including a goal of at least 75 electric school buses by July 1, 2033.

Read on here to learn more about this critical legislation and its benefits for all New Yorkers.
Green Loading Zones (GLZs) Pilot Program—Survey
The New York City Department of Transportation is seeking feedback to inform a Green Loading Zones (GLZs) pilot program. The pilot program will leverage curb regulations to incentivize low-emission and electric commercial vehicles (green vehicles) by providing dedicated curb spaces for loading and unloading activities. Access the online 10-15 minutes survey through October 15, 2021. We welcome participation from managers in freight logistics, trucking, and fleet management sectors.
