RWC Qualifiers: Who Has the Upper Hand as the Two Series Head South?
  • Quote: "History is in the favor of the visiting Eagles as they have dominated the series against their South American rivals. They could simply stick to their game plan which was successful for the majority of last weekend’s game and use their brute strength to overpower the home side en route to booking their ticket to France 2023 as the Americas 1 seed."

The Pick of the Best Young Talents at the HSBC Canada Sevens and Fast Four
  • 🦅 David Still: "The 23-year-old scored on his Series debut against Chile and looked dangerous whenever he had ball in hand. He signed off in Vancouver with another try against Canada and then crossed twice against Spain in Edmonton. There should be plenty more to come from the former college American football player."

🎙INTERVIEW WITH MIKE TOLKIN

Eagles Overseas' Bill Baker caught up with Premier Rugby Sevens GM Mike Tolkin ahead of the league's launch this weekend. In the interview, Tolkin talked about up-and-coming coaches in the U.S. system and shared what fans should expect from the PR7s this weekend.

On his role and what the Premier Rugby Sevens offers rugby fans:
  • Quote: "I'm the general manager. My role is to acquire talent and build up the teams, so we have a quality event on October 9 in Memphis. It's covering a lot of bases - it's working with the U.S. national team coaches, both men and women, and the league is going to have six men's teams, four women's teams, all playing at the same venue. We feel strongly about equality and making sure the men and women have equal treatment in our league."
