Thank you for being a part of the Pulse Community in 2021. The Pulse Tool Suite has undergone significant development this year.

Download the new Pulse Version 4.0 with a new and validated ventilator and a bag valve mask equipment models, respiratory mechanics action for customization of the circuit, new drugs, new arterial blood gas assessment, and improved software architecture for engine customization and use of C++17.

Kitware and the Pulse Team will be attending the International Meeting on Simulation and Healthcare 2022 in Los Angeles. Plan to stop by our booth #714. Our paper comparing the hemorrhage models of the most popular physiology engines was accepted to the Technical Proceedings at IMSH. Plan to see Dr. Rachel Clipp present this work at the conference.

The Pulse Team has been awarded an NIH R01 to combine Kitware's iMSTK and Pulse platforms to create a surgical simulator for laparoscopic cholecystectomy. We are collaborating with the University of Buffalo, the Children's National Medical Center, and the University of Texas-Southwestern.

Please let us know about your other success stories so that we can share with the community.  If you have any questions or are interested in collaborating with us, please contact us at kitware@kitware.com.
