We hope you’ve had a good, productive year since GGJ 2021 back in January, and that you’ve been keeping well despite the global pandemic.
Many of you have wondered about the announcement regarding site registrations for GGJ 2022 - which takes place 28-30 January. Since earlier this year, the GGJ team has been hard at work on a major overhaul of the backend infrastructure of our GGJ website - work that was much-needed and long-overdue. We anticipate this will provide a much better experience for jammers, site organizers, and regional organizers during the event. While the frontend of the website will have only minor updates for now, we plan to do a bigger UI/UX revision sometime after GGJ 2022.
So we’re happy to announce that site registrations for GGJ 2022 will officially open up on Monday, 1 November 2021!
GGJ 2022 will be a hybrid event that allows for both live and virtual sites. The choice of site format will depend on your local health conditions and regulations.
