Fr. Heilman explains in this 1 minute video that we are in a battle, a spiritual one - won only through the prayer!

BRING A LAWNCHAIR AND UMBRELLA -
(ALTHOUGH IT'S EXPECTED TO BE SUNNY ON SUNDAY!)

Together with hundreds of local RCC rallies nationwide, CUP will host a prayer rally to celebrate Our Lady of the Rosary’s feast day, October 7, and the 104th anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, October 13.

The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, (formerly Our Lady of Victory) is a feast day celebrated by Catholics on 7 October, the 450th anniversary of the "Battle of Lepanto", a victory of the 1571 Holy League’s fleet over the Muslim Ottoman navy at the Battle of Lepanto. Pope Pius V, who arranged for the coalition of Catholic states (mainly Spain and most of Italy), attributed the decisive triumph to the faithful praying of the Rosary and intercession of the Blessed Mother.

We are inviting CUP supporters across the country to pray together to call upon God through the powerful intercession of Our Lady of the Rosary, for intentions including respect for life; the sanctity of marriage; upholding constitutionally protected religious freedom; and the return of our nation to God and Holiness.

Fr. Kalchik will discuss reasons why Catholics deny the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist and the critical need to instill in Church leadership and the faithful the importance of worthy approach of the altar for this grace-filled Sacrament.

ChurchMilitant early reported in 2019 Fr. Kalchik

"was forced out of his parish on orders of Cdl. Blase Cupich for burning a sacrilegious banner that once hung over the High Altar of Resurrection Parish.

One day after lesbian mayor Lori Lightfoot called for "swift action" against the priest for disposing of the blasphemous LGBT banner — which depicted rainbow pride colors intertwined with the Cross — Cupich sent two chancery men to threaten and bully Kalchik into checking in to St. Luke Institute, the notorious priest rehab center in Maryland, whose previous CEO was imprisoned for embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay a gay lover.

Fr. Kalchik filed an appeal to Rome asserting his canonical rights, a lawsuit he was successful in defending.  He was then reinstated with his priestly faculties by the Vatican.
