Parish Life
Missouri Town 1855 - Join us this Sunday for a traditional 1855 service and a journey to Missouri Town 1855 after the service.
Sunday, October 10 - Change of plans - originally Meg thought she'd be out of town, but plans have changed. She will be in town and we will have our regular Eucharistic service in person.
October 17 - Pet Blessing - Bring your pet to church. We will have our traditional pet blessing. This year the service will be held outside.
October 31 - Trunk or Treat - Open and decorate your trunk, and pass out goodies to all the kiddos. Kids are encouraged to wear their costumes.
Plastic Bags – There is still a bin outside to collect plastic grocery bags. If you would like to learn how to make "Plarn" (plastic yarn), which is used to make mats for the homeless, come to church a little early and Collette or Christina would be happy to teach you. We have a lot of bags to weave. Any help would be appreciated.
Giving Sunday –There is a collection bin for donations to Hillcrest & St. Michael’s pantry at the church, outside the front. You can swing by and drop off your donations and the bin will be checked weekly. If you have donations to make and need someone to come by, Toni (816.289.9820) would be happy to swing by and make a pick-up.
St. Michael’s Necessity Pantry – needs are bar soap, shampoo, & dish soap
Hillcrest – ketchup, mustard, mayo, tuna, canned chicken, hand soap, toothpaste, and dish soap
