Drop off Safety
To expedite the drop off process have your student ready when you reach the coned area. Please make sure your child exits on the right side of the vehicle. Students are only to be dropped off in the cone area. Once your child has exited, if safe, pull to the right and head toward the exit. Please do not release your child on Fremont St., North St., or the small parking area by the side of the church. If you need to come on campus please drop off your child first then park in the lot between the playground and St. Vincent DePaul. The gate on Sutter St. is also open in the morning for drop off.

GET YOUR SLUSH PUPPIES!!!
St. Anthony's Student Council will be selling Slush Puppies during lunch time this week for $1.00. Members of student council will be keeping track of how much money each class earns with their Slush Puppy purchases. The classes will be using their proceeds for our school's Advent Service Project.
A sneak peak into the Advent service project..............St. Anthony's School will be filling a stable with animals for Jesus.

It's just about time to start thinking about how you want to decorate your car this Halloween. We will once again host TRUNK AND TREAT on Friday, October 29th. More details will follow as we get closer. (Yes you do get volunteer hours for participating!)

SCRIP NEWS
Scrip office is open every morning from 8 am to 9 am. 100% of the profit you earn will be applied as a tuition credit for the following school year.
Please email scrip at scrip@sasmanteca.org to place your scrip order or call the school office. Remember to include a contact number. Any items we do not have in stock will automatically be put on backorder unless otherwise stated by you.
Please do not order physical cards on the RaiseRight App or ShopWithScrip. If you would like physical cards please obtain them from our scrip office.

CYO 21-22 Season
St. Anthony's CYO is also looking for head coaches for the following Boy's Basketball teams:

Opening Day for Girls Basketball: October 2nd. The game schedule and venue will be announced as soon as it is finalized.
Girls Basketball needs volunteers for upcoming games
October 16th and 23rd. Help is needed with gym set up, clean up and concession stand work. Sign up sheets ar located in the school office.
*Hours worked for CYO will count towards your parent participation hours.*

We are in need of volunteers to take pictures at school, parish and CYO events for our annual school yearbook. Please consider sharing your photos with our yearbook team. Thank you.

School Pictures
An access code was emailed to your student's school email account. This as a Gmail account. Please ask or help your student log into their Gmail account to view their picture. If your child missed picture day a make up picture day is scheduled for Wednesday, October 6th.
**If you have a preschool student their access code was emailed to the address you provided in the enrollment packet.

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS PET FOOD DRIVE
This year, to support the animals in the Manteca Animal Services Facility, Student Council will be collecting donations from September 27th through October 1st, in honor of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi and Blessing of the Animals.
Items that can be donated are the following:
*Cans/bags of cat or dog food
*Bones or treats
The shelter prefers the Blue Wilderness brand but will gladly accept any brand.
THE CLASS WITH THE MOST DONATIONS WINS A SPECIAL PRIZE!!!

Volunteer Service Hours
If you have not had your fingerprinting or Virtus training please stop by the school office to get the appropriate paperwork.
Per Federal law, beginning in October following the Fall Break, all St. Anthony's volunteers and staff will need to be either vaccinated or tested weekly. This includes all volunteers working with our students on a regular basis (ie: CYO, faith formation, life night staff, parent aides, art docent etc.) Please see Kelly Holdren or Susie Dickert in the school office for additional information.

Refer a Family - Earn one-month Free Tuition
Refer a new family, K-8, (Preschool/PreK classes do not qualify) to St. Anthony's Catholic School, once the family is enrolled - you earn one month's tuition credit to be applied to your FACTS account. The more families you refer, the more credit you earn! The free month of tuition is applied after the new incoming family has been enrolled for a trimester.
*Families MUST include your name in the referral section of the application to ensure you receive credit.
