In the last newsletter we said a lot about the situation at New Grace home. We introduced you to the children and teenagers who live there. All come from situations of extreme poverty. Without help, they have no chance of breaking the vicious cycle of poverty and hopelessness.
The Jena family shares their own home with these children, they give them shelter, love and the opportunity to go to school. However, they need help to pay for food, medical care and education for all of these 39 children and teens. Have you been considering sponsoring a child or teenager? As we have shared in the previous letter, the children and teenagers are currently still sleeping on the floor in the living room. The girls in one family's house and the boys in the other. Recently the veranda has collapsed so in the wet season there will be no place to eat and cook for the large group. Maybe you were still considering helping with construction? Your help is very welcome to make sure the children have a good place to eat and sleep (maybe even in beds) during the wet season.
