Unsettling Landscapes: The Art of the Eerie
Friday 1 October TOMORROW
Co-curators Steve Marshall and Gill Clarke will introduce some of the highlights of St Barbe's latest exhibition focusing on a vein of eerie landscape art from the 1920s to the present.
The talk will be based around the exhibition's four overlapping themes: absence/presence, ancient landscapes, unquiet nature and atmospheric effect and will feature works by Paul Nash, Graham Sutherland, John Piper and George Shaw.
 
Talk will be held at the Baptist Church, New Street | Doors open 7pm, talk starts 7.30 pm
