Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to the first edition of Staying up to Data!
This newsletter will highlight our latest projects, upcoming events, and feature new reports and research from the sustainable development data community. This month, we have many exciting publications and announcements to share with you.
Like many of you, our team at Open Data Watch (ODW) has had a busy summer. We began by welcoming two new colleagues to the team. Jahanara Saeed joined us as a Program Manager and Taylor Hadnot as a Research Analyst. We also participated in numerous events, including the recent WHO Health Data Governance Summit and a UNESCAP Stats Café on Bridging the Gap: Mapping Gender Data Availability in Asia and the Pacific.
After many months of working from home, we are preparing to travel to the World Data Forum in a few days to discuss pressing topics on data for the Sustainable Development Goals. We are participating in multiple sessions, and we hope to see you there in person or virtually!
