                                 NEW PENNSYLVANIA PROJECT

Learn about the work of New Pennsylvania Project, founded by Kadida Kenner and modeled after Stacy Abrams’ New Georgia Project and Fair Fight Georgia. The group has big plans to reverse trends we saw in 2020, when Biden’s victory did not translate into progressive gains in PA legislative races. According to NPP’s website, they will “expand Pennsylvania’s electorate so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population…engage and empower young residents and those living in underrepresented and often neglected communities of color and immigrant communities. We will register them to vote, provide education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize people to vote in every election - twice a year.”

JUDICIAL VOTES MATTER!!

                  MEET THE CANDIDATES OCTOBER 19

The most critical races affecting the criminal justice system—among a host of other important issues—occur at state and local levels. Yet judicial elections receive little attention.

This year, PA voters will see several judicial races on their ballots — for the PA Supreme Court and two courts of appeals, Superior Court and Commonwealth Court. The four Democrats on the ballot are: Judge Maria McLaughlin, PA Supreme Court; Judge Timika Lane, PA Superior Court; Judge Lori Dumas, PA Commonwealth Court; and Judge David Spurgeon, PA Commonwealth Court.

Be an informed voter: attend P&E’s virtual meeting with Judges Lane and Dumas on Tuesday, October 19 at 3:30 PM. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
