Dear Reader,
Pup Joy Lesson #1: Enthusiasm
Click on the image to watch the video or read below.
We recently got a new little bundle of joy into our lives: A miniature Maltipoo puppy we named Choccie. He is pitch black and I love chocolates, so that’s where the name came from. He is like a little piece of dark chocolate.

He may be little, but boy he is mighty!

He has changed the atmosphere in our house totally. How can seriousness survive when every pee on the puppy pad has to be celebrated with words of affirmation and tasty treats? How can you be in a bad mood if you see his never-ending joy? How he celebrates every new thing he discovers?

I just love the way he greets us when we come home. He is a bundle of eagerness and enthusiasm as he bounds around our feet. He does not care what happened before. He is not worried about what may happen next. He is fully present. He is simply a bundle of joy in the moment! He is happy to see us and he lets us know.

Perhaps we can learn from this.

When last have you experienced such enthusiasm? When last have you shown it yourself? Are you able to celebrate the present fully and wholeheartedly?
When we can show up with just a fraction of the energy and enthusiasm of this tiny little creature, we will soon also experience some of the joy!
I hope you found this helpful. More of the same can be found on nicohuman.com or by following me on LinkedIn, Facebook or YouTube.

Thank you. Until next week! Let’s all show up with enthusiasm wherever we go this week! Enjoy the joy that will be yours if you can do master Pup Joy Lesson Number 1.
