Time to plan your visit to the
Vale of Pewsey!

Explore - Stay - Eat - Drink - Shop
Discover Pewsey Vale
Our new online planner is now available on our website - Discover Pewsey Vale!
There are currently two itineraries based on walking holidays - Kennet & Avon Canal and Mid-Wilts Way.  Also included in this is a series of one-day itineraries for those days off from walking or if you are just staying for a day or two - Experience the Vale, or go further afield and Explore Beyond the Vale.
Lots of ideas, together with information on where to stay and where to eat - we hope you enjoy planning your visit.

We are now heading into autumn with all the joys that this beautiful season brings - cooler days (ideal for walking particularly with dogs), the changing colours of the hedgerows, as well as West Woods and Savernake Forest, and the pleasure of log fires, good food and local beer in country pubs.  The Vale has it all.
With plenty of things to do and events going on across the Vale we look forward to welcoming you this autumn.
For ideas on where to stay, have a look at our video or browse through our website.
We hope you enjoy this month's news and views from the Vale of Pewsey!

A sighting of the rare Pigemu in Wilton!

With the body of a pig and the head of an emu, the pigemu was recently photographed by a walker passing through the village of Wilton on one of our walks!
Of course just it was just down to timing of the shot, but Blossom the pig lives with her emu friends at Manor Farm in Wilton, where you can choose from three wonderful places to stay - Lyde Cottage, Pots & Pigs and Swallows' Nest
You might see the gang when you do the Wilton Windmill walk or the Great Bedwyn & The Brails walk - often in a paddock just a few yards from The Swan Inn.
Outdoor Foodie Market is taking a short break
The monthly Outdoor Foodie Market at Woodborough Yard will be taking a break, so won't be on in October and November.
However, there will be a Christmas Market - the date has yet to be confirmed and will be updated on our social media and in our newsletter as soon as it's available.
All the businesses in Woodborough Yard are of course open as normal, with plenty of gift ideas for the festive season - visit the shops and cafes in this lovely setting.  Free and convenient parking too!
Make sure you visit .....
..... The Craft Studio in Pewsey for craft courses, craft gifts, equipment and materials.
