Dear Members and Friends of Our FLCC Community,
October is the month for pastoral appreciation for our staff! For the Gohs, it is the first anniversary of their ministry with us at Full Life. They have brought light, fire, and encouragement to our community with their love for the Lord and His people. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, they have found ways to reach out to us and share God's words and wisdom. To celebrate their time with us, we invite you to come to our Sunday service on October 17 and stay for the anniversary celebration afterwards!

Pastoral Appreciation month
and Love Offering!

Let's show our support to our pastors and staff. Bless them through prayer, love offering, your life group, or individual appreciation - a card, an email, a chat over coffee, a home-cooked meal, a gift, whatever works for you.
This last year has been especially challenging because of the pandemic, let's affirm their work for the Lord and pray for God to bless their ministries mightily at Full Life!
If you would like to contribute to the Love Offering, the board is collecting it for pastoral appreciation on October 24 and October 31.
Pastor Daniel prayed this over us recently, and we are praying this back to the staff and him! You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalms 23:5-6)

Did you enjoy the ministry time with our guest pastors last weekend? It was a blessing to meet and hear from Pastor Ernie Chow and Pastor Siew Peng Chow. They had a lot to share. Here's just a snippet of their points.

With over 50 youths and adults in attendance on Friday, Pastor Chow urged us to let God be our master craftsman. Like the Japanese art of Kintsugi, God can mend our broken pieces and make us even stronger in Him. To be impactful, we have to let Jesus into our boat. Our boat is our lives, our education, our work, our family.... When we let Jesus into our boat, He can give us miracles. He can take us deeper than we can ever go ourselves. Obedience leads to blessings, and when we release what's in our boat to God, He will do great things through us. Fear is from the enemy, but faith is from God!

On Saturday, Pastor Siew Peng gave great encouragement to our church and ministry leaders. Shout to the Lord with praise! Also, we need to be in a place of good spiritual health, so that we may lead others to Christ. We may ask for the Holy Spirit, but it is up to us how we respond to Him. What an awesome time of praise, prayer, ministry and healing with our fellow servers in Christ!
On Sunday, Pastor Siew Peng brought the fire of the Lord to us! The most important work of the church is to do the will of God and save souls. There is nothing you can bring to heaven except souls. As Pastor Daniel has taught us many times as well, we need to stay focused on the mission of the church, and let God do His work in us. Amen!

Please continue to pray for the families we can serve through this ministry, sufficient staff to support them, and for God's provision.
