Let's all celebrate Electric Vehicles with our friends at D/FW Clean Cities and EV owners from across North Texas!
If you have already registered, go to the bottom of this email for event day logistics
National Drive Electric Week will be celebrated at The REC of Grapevine on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at 4 PM. We're working with our friends at NCTCOG Transportation Department, Oncor and North Texas Electric Auto Association to make the event larger and more fun than ever!
There are currently 179 cars of 22 different models along with 568 attendees registered, making our event the second largest in the country!
To shake things up, we have a lot of new things in store:
- Great location in downtown Grapevine
- Easy Slider food truck and HIPPOP frozen treats (for sale while supplies last)
- A Sunday afternoon event
- An electric school bus!
- Announcement of the winners of $250 prizes in the Road Rally for the Oncor Trophy
- Door prizes courtesy of our exhibitors and sponsors
- An outdoor movie screening of Revenge of the Electric Car
This event is always one of the largest in the country, with an amazing variety of EVs from all manufacturers from classics to the very newest available. With your help, we'll keep it that way and we'll have a great time socializing with other EV owners and EV-curious.
Here's what you need to do to join us:
- RSVP by clicking on the "Register" button below this column (some surprises are reserved for pre-registrants)
- Invite your friends and family to the event and encourage them to attend
- Remind everyone that NDEW is the only place you can see EVs in a no pressure environment. Learn from the EV experts- the OWNERS themselves
- PLEASE Share your excitement & event info via social media
- Follow @nctcogtrans and share NDEW posts on your social media (Don't forget hashtag your photos with #texasEV)
