Government Opposition To Biblical Truth
Religious freedom in western societies has become increasingly ignored. As a result, more and more Christians are having to ask themselves: Do I obey God or man? Do I follow Biblical mandates or government mandates?
What are Believers to do when faced with such questions? The Bible is not silent on this critical issue.
A prime example to Christians today is found in Daniel the prophet. Daniel held firm to his Biblical convictions in the face of government opposition and took comfort in his understanding of the times.
Amir Tsarfati of Behold Israel on Saturday wrote:
What made the prophet Daniel someone whom God promoted and to whom God gave so many prophetic revelations?
1. He exhibited obedience to authorities appointed by God when obedience was due, yet kept his moral conscience, through much prayer, aligned with God's Word.
2. He understood the plans of God and was excited to watch their fulfillment in his lifetime! He never fought the Jewish exile to Babylon but rather rejoiced in the prophetic promise of its nearing end!
I hope we can all learn from the life of this extraordinary man of God who, at the age of 15, was part of a nation brutally rooted out of its homeland for a 70-year long exile. In his own life experiences, he was the recipient of an extremely aggressive attempt at brainwashing him to worship Babylonian deities, which included a change of his name and the names of his close friends.
Daniel skillfully understood when and where to draw the red line. So should we!
HD Instagram Account Hacked
As some of you may have noticed, Harbingers Daily's Instagram account @BibleProphecy for about the span of one week vanished from the internet. This deactivation on the 22nd of September resulted from a sophisticated hacking of our account by a group located in Turkey.
By God's grace, our team was able to contact FaceBook and regain access to our account without too much difficulty. Although the hackers location was on the other side of the world, we understand the battle was not "against flesh and blood" (Eph. 6:12). There is an ever-present spiritual battle taking place to suppress the truth—more specifically, Biblical Truth.
The world would like nothing more than to eradicate the restraining voice of the Holy Spirit to the lost and deceived in our wicked culture.
Very soon, this world will have its way (after we are Raptured out of the way), but until then, we would like to ask you to join our team in diligently praying for the protection of Harbingers Daily and other ministries that teach the Bible soundly.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 NKJV - "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming."
