Dear Parents/Carers,
Reminder: our sponsored Bear Hunt event is happening this week, Monday 4th - Friday 8th October.
Your child will be taken out of Pre-School during the week by a group of staff and volunteers to go for a swishy swashy walk around Duffield Close, tracking down a bear! They'll have to use their best detective skills to spot the bear's footprints, tracking it through the long wavy grass, along the deep cold river, past the thick oozy mud, through the big dark forest, battling through the swirling whirling snowstorm to a narrow gloomy cave...
We are holding this sponsored event to raise vital funds for the Pre-School, with donations going towards purchasing equipment for our new Forest School area. We appreciate every penny, so please share the fundraiser with your friends and family and ask them to sponsor your child!

Our GoFundMe is the easiest way to donate and can be found at https://gofund.me/89a6fad3 or we can accept donations in cash, in clearly labelled envelopes. We ask that monies are handed in/paid by 22nd October at the latest please.

We have just enough volunteers to take all the children, but if you would like to help out then please let us know which days and times (10 you can do, either by emailing Kayleigh or messaging the Facebook page, and we'll get back to you ASAP.
The weather is looking a little unsettled for the week ahead, so please ensure that you are sending your child into Pre-School with clothing suitable for the weather, with a sensible coat and shoes as it may rain while they are on the Bear Hunt. If you send your child in wearing wellies, please ensure that they have a pair of shoes to wear indoors.
