On September 29, 2021 our faithful ministry friend Gil Carlson was promoted to glory. Gil was a Corning Area Bible Club Camp guest speaker many times for over the last 50 plus years. He shared the good news of Jesus through story telling and illusions. He also was a pilot and the last few times he came to camp, he flew here in his plane and during his time with us, he would fly over the camp grounds and drop candy for the children. Gil was a good friend and he was a true servant of the Lord. He walked the talk. Gil lost the battle against Covid -19, but gained the wonders of Heaven and the ultimate joy of instantly being in the very presence of Jesus. Thank you Gil. We and so many others will miss you. Our deepest condolences to Gil's dear wife Linda.
Updates on Bible Club Classes
Most all of the school districts that we minister in have indicated that for now they are not allowing in school after school Bible Clubs nor Released Time Classes due to continued concerns surrounding the Covid -19 virus. Please pray that these doors will eventually open back up. There is a possibility that our class in Bradford , NY will start later in the current school year. We do give praise that we will be able to conduct classes with the six elementary schools in the Corning, NY school district.We are so grateful to be able to resume these classes as our last class that we held was on March 13, 2020.
The Corning Schedule: starts on October 18
Mondays - Severn Elementary School
Tuesdays - Gregg Elementary School
Thursdays - Winfield, Erwin Valley, and Smith Elementary Schools
Fridays - Carder Elementary School
Please pray with us as we resume these classes. Pray for many children to attend and for a bountiful harvest as God's Word is taught.

Save the date - we are planning to host a Ministry Spring Celebration on Thursday May 5, 2022 at North Baptist Church in Corning, NY. Stay tuned for times and details. (We mentioned last month a Fall Celebration for October 9, 2021. At our September committee meeting we discussed it and we felt it was best to hold off and plan a ministry celebration in May, 2022)
