- FROM OUR EXECUTIVE SEARCH DIVISION: Housing Resources of Western Colorado has announced Emilee Powell as their new Executive Director after a search conducted as a partnership between Third Sector Company and Jan Glick and Associates. If your organization will be conducting an executive search, let our national experience help create the local impact you want.
- WE'RE CHANGING OUR LANGUAGE: As students of Social Justice and Community Equity, Third Sector Company has announced that it will begin reducing the use of the word "nonprofits" in favor of "community impact organizations." It will not use acronyms that create barriers to understanding including limiting the use of the short-hand BIPOC in favor of honoring the naming of "Black, Indigenous and all People of Color" whenever possible. The organization will no longer refer to "mission statements" in favor of "statement of purpose" and "declarations of intention."
