Interview Bart Rousseau & Timo Wyffels - city of Gent
The BLING project is very glad to welcome the city of Gent (Belgium) into the consortium. Gent aims to introduce automatization into its energy loan system by using blockchain. They describe the problem - to ensure the integrity and source of health certificates as well as ensuring privacy. The specific use case is around health certificates for prostitutes. These certificates are now on paper and can be easily forged and there are different forms in different provinces in Germany. The article describes clearly how these health certificates can be build with the help of blockchain architecture and furthermore is explained why IOTA based architecture was most suited.
