33rd Annual Fall Festival of Shakespeare
November 18–21, 2021

The annual Fall Festival of Shakespeare is a residency program at 10 high schools in Massachusetts and neighboring New York. Shakespeare & Company directing teams lead students at each school through a language-based exploration of different Shakespeare plays, culminating in full-scale productions at their own schools and then on the main stage at the Tina Packer Playhouse.

Providing videos of The Fall Festival has become a tradition, and has always been one of CTSB’s primary fundraising activities.  The energy and enthusiasm of the participating students make it one of the high points of our year. It also provides a significant source of programming for our education channel. Your volunteer participation is needed and most welcome.

Performances this year will be closed to the general public, and live streamed on channel 1302 and at ctsbtv.org/fallfest

CTSB needs volunteers to crew five (5) positions for each of ten (10) performances:  camera (x3), audio (x1), and script reader (x1). Feel free to sign up for as many performances as you'd like.

When planning your volunteer day, please note that crew call (the time at which we need you to show up before the performance), is one hour before the performance time listed on the schedule, below.  For all performances, please report one hour before the performance to the lobby of the Tina Packer Playhouse - 70 Kemble Street, Lenox MA

All volunteers must provide proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID test within 48 hours of arrival, and remain masked at all times inside the playhouse. Rapid testing will be available on-site, but in limited supply. This is a necessary precaution, as social distancing will be difficult inside the control room.

We will provide food and refreshments between shows.  When you sign up, please alert us to any food allergies you may have.

If you would like to volunteer, please reply to this email or call us at 413-243-8211
