Flying internationally has become very complex as the world governments establish more control over our lives. After many airline cancellations, taking invasive Covid tests, and filling out government forms, we have finally made it back to France! We barely made the trip as we encountered several complications, but we could see the amazing sovereign hand of the Lord answering our prayers along the way.
We spent days organizing and packing 10 suitcases in addition to our carry-ons filled with homeschool books, clothes, office equipment, and things we cannot get in France, while shifting items from bag to bag and weighing them to meet the weight requirements at the airport. We read and filled out many forms from the airlines and French government, and took the required Covid test. In spite of our months of preparation, our negative test results came late and at last minute we were missing a necessary travel document from a government website that was down for maintenance. But as we waited and prayed, God answered and all of our papers arrived just in time to board the plane!

Situations such as these seem normal in my experience as a missionary throughout the years. We continue to move toward our goals in faith while knocking on apparently closed doors to see if God will open them. We are so grateful for and dependent on your prayers. Thank you!
Please pray as we continue to walk by faith despite trials, challenges, and blessing that come with missions. We have joined our national team members and are working toward establishing residence and establishing a church in Cannes, France. We are blessed with a wonderful team here in France and all of you who support us from around the world!

- Praise God that we were finally able to return to France!
- Please pray for God’s blessing on our church plant as we work to establish it with our national partners - The Brambila family.
- Please pray for our family as Julia homeschools and I (James) work on necessary administrative tasks involved with moving to a foreign country under Covid Restrictions.
- Please pray as we establish residence in Cannes, which involves moving our things from storage in the north 300 miles south to our new church planting location.
- Please pray that the French government officials will be stopped in their attempt to create laws that take away the freedoms of the people and are harmful to Christian families.
- Please pray that our family will maintain a close walk with God.
