We are making changes to some of our COVID procedures, with government recommendations that the front door remain unlocked. This should simplify the arrival process and mean that no one is waiting outside as the weather begins to turn more wintery. We still ask that patients wear a mask, avoid arriving very early and to cancel appointments if they have:
- Any symptoms of COVID (new continuous cough, high temperature, loss/change in sense of smell or taste)
- Had a positive COVID test in the last 10 days
- Been told to self-isolate
- Not been fully vaccinated and someone you live with has COVID symptoms of tested positive
Additionally, if you have signs of flu, we would be grateful if you would rearrange your appointment to protect other patients and our staff. All measures in the surgery rooms remain the same with air purifiers running continuously, additional high-volume ventilation between appointments, and all disinfection and sterilisation procedures.
