Rev. Wise and his wife were avid travelers. They made over 30 trips and cruises because they loved traveling. They were able to visit many places all over the globe. Rev. Wise led tours to the Holy Land and to the Oberammergau Passion Play. He also traveled to Europe to learn more about his ancestry.

Rev. Wise loved ministry, especially the ministry of visitation. He liked people and loved visiting in homes and hospitals alike. In the last few years, he cared for his ailing wife, until her death earlier this year. He was a devoted husband and caregiver.
