Apply for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
Last Call: The City of Tampa Office of Emergency Management is looking for volunteers to join the City's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). The program trains citizens to be prepared for and respond to emergencies that may arise in the community. Volunteers will attend one class a week for eight weeks that cover subjects including incident command, search and rescue, CPR, and basic firefighting. Classes start on September 29th! The City of Tampa Water Department is looking for a Water Production Plant Engineer to participate in the design, construction and operation of water systems. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in engineering with three years post-degree engineering experience or a Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) designation with five (5) years of experience, significant independent project completion experience is also required.
