Dear Valencia Families,
Just a few important dates and announcements for you:
A friendly reminder to 6th grade parents:
Please send in a copy of a baby picture of your 6th grader to be published in the school yearbook. Submissions requested by November 1, 2021.
-The picture can be scanned and emailed to kimguiley23@gmail.com(please put the student's name in the subject line). All formats are okay EXCEPT .pdf
OR
-You can drop a picture off for the yearbook in the Main Office. Please include the student's name, and teacher so the photo can be returned. Thank you!

Please help us in taking pictures (birthdays, spirit days, school events, etc.), just email your photos anytime to kimguiley23@gmail.com and we'll do the rest! Just use the subject line for the caption and the body of your email to give us the description.

Drive for Schools Weekly Update We’re two weeks into our Drive for Schools fundraiser and so far we’ve raised $6,555! We’re on track to hit our fundraising goal of $25,000, but we still have a ways to go.
Please buy and sell your Drive for Schools tickets for a chance to win $25K in cash and other great prizes. View the 2021 DFS Prizes.
The best part about Drive for Schools is that Valencia keeps every dollar our students raise. 100% of all tickets sales go directly to supporting important programs at our school.
This is what you need to know:
Tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25.
You do NOT need to be present at the Boardwalk drawing to win.
More tickets can be picked up in the Valencia office or requested on the envelope when you turn in tickets and money.
Ticket stubs and money can be sent to school with your child to turn in to their teacher, or they can be turned in at the Valencia office.
Students who turn in just one ticket will be entered in our weekly prize drawings.
The sooner you turn in tickets, the more chances your student will have to win a weekly prize.
The last day to turn in tickets is THURSDAY, October 14th.
Last Friday we had our first weekly drawing and 2 students from each grade got to stop by the office and pick up a fun prize. This Friday we’ll draw the names of 3 students from each grade (21 students total) who have sold at least 1 ticket.

Valencia will start on-campus Surveillance and Exposure Non-Symptomatic Testing with Inspire Diagnostics next week. Our weekly testing days are Mondays and Thursdays. Please register your student(s) and give consent for testing and complete the Google Form that notes the test(s) you are consenting for (surveillance, exposure, or both).
