This weekend is Big Mite Box weekend. Please remember to bring your mite boxes to church.
This weekend is also LWML Sunday during worship. Join us as we install this year's officers.

The ladies of First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church LWML are having a different kind of "Bake" sale.
We are asking you to contribute a monetary donation in the amount you would spend on ingredients (and a little extra for your time and skill) to make an item that you would donate to a traditional bake sale. You don't need to burn your fingers, dirty a bowl or clean your counters.
You could choose to contribute what you would have spent on a pie, a loaf of bread or a plate of cookies.
This bake sale has no calories!
You can drop your gifts in the box near the entrance doors of the church.
The money collected will help support our youth to attend the
National Youth Gathering next summer.

An Evangelism Thought...

“Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted.” Hebrews 2:18
Jesus Christ isn’t a distant judge, unable to sympathize with us. He not only died for our sins, but will judge us with compassion.
