West Lakes Pilot Paint Program
West Lakes Board of Directors started the Neighborhood Pride Paint Program to provide grant funding assistance to qualified legacy residents who have lived in the neighborhood since 2014. Three houses have been completed with another three pending. Satisfied legacy residents have noted that this is the first direct investment they have enjoyed. The program's one-time $1,500 grant is geared to offset the cost of painting the exterior of resident’s homes.
The paint program is part of a broader effort led by West Lakes Partnership to maintain and improve the character, aesthetic quality, and property values within our community. Thanks to Lift Orlando’s financial commitment, fifteen (15) homes will be painted per year over three years. Sponsors are needed to do more homes. Neighborhoods eligible are: Clear Lake Cove, Clear Lake: Bunche Manor/Hollando, Lake Lorna Doone, Lake Sunset, and Rock Lake.

Nature Education in Lake Lorna Doone Park
Lake Lorna Doone Park will be offering free educational opportunities for kids of all ages, beginning Saturday, October 2 at 11 AM. Join a certified Naturalist as they take you on an educational journey exploring the Winnie Palmer Foundation Nature Trail in the newly renovated Lake Lorna Doone Park. Drive-In Movie Night at Lake Lorna Doone Park
Grab the family and set the scene for Halloween by watching “Coco" at The Park Reel & Chill Drive-In Movie on October 2!
