"I'm late! For a Very Important Date!"

Sneaky September has slipped away like the White Rabbit, and I find myself in my own wonderland. Shorter days are punctuated by brilliant blasts of gold and orange against the bluest of blue Colorado skies, and I settle in with thoughts of my next novel.

 

 

First, though, I await the proof copy of my Waterwight coloring book, which I simply must have for my table at FanExpo Denver this  Halloween Weekend! I continue to enjoy the "Procreate" app on my iPad for drawing, and here's the coloring book cover I've created:
 

I'll be selling these with a pack of Crayola crayons at my table and hope to see some happy young faces! The book will be available on Amazon once I approve the proof (it's always a bit stressful waiting to see if everything prints correctly)!

Meanwhile, I'm still delighted by my great-niece's first novel, Lucky Bucks! The paperback has a full color illustration in each chapter, and the story is wonderful for youngsters! Thank you to all who have supported this young (9 years old!) author!
 

 

Hoping you're all able to get out, wherever you may live, and appreciate the beauty of summer giving way to fall. Mike and I had an especially memorable hike this past weekend, starting with quite the unexpected "display," which I captured in this video (click on photo below)! The cows are wrestling, children! Enjoy!
