Don't forget to check out the latest Transformed For Impact podcast episode in the Digging Deeper series, "Displaying the Gospel in Daily Life."

Together, we will look at several Scripture passages to remember that the gospel is something for us AND also something for others. You will also discover a biblical framework for Displaying the Gospel in Daily Life. Through the story of David and Mephibosheth in 2 Samuel 9, you will learn four things that David did to extend God’s gospel and grace to this young man in need. From this, you will learn important questions to consider to push us to see gospel needs and opportunities around us each day.

Join us at ICC this Friday, October 1st, at 6pm as our global missions leadership team shares about Gospel and Culture: How the Gospel Must Cross Cultural Boundaries. Food from the Curry Bowl will be provided.

Global Missions Focus is the first Friday of every month at 6pm.

Join a Community Group or Bible Collective this week! We want you to grow as a follower of Jesus. Growth happens as we commit to community and learning.

We'd be glad to help you connect with a community group! You can find a community group here.

You can also consider joining our Study of Genesis 1-11 in our Men's Bible Collective (Thursdays at 6am) and Women's Bible Collective (Thursdays at 7pm).

Family Ministry Director Position: We’ve officially launched the search for the next Family Ministry Director of Island Community Church. Please prayerfully consider if there is someone you know who would be a great fit for our staff team and Family Ministry leadership. Trivia Night at the Glenmary: Join us next Tuesday, October 5th, at 6pm as we continue our monthly rhythm of themed trivia at the Glenmary. This month, it will be fall themed. We look forward to reconnecting with widows, widowers, and retirement community residents to provide love and care in the name of Jesus.

E.S.L. Volunteer: Our ESL class is looking for a volunteer to coordinate communications by running our ESL Facebook page and reaching out to active and interested students. If you enjoy social media, and have a desire to be a part of God's global mission from right here at home, we would love for you to serve with us this semester! Afghan Refugee Care: Sign up for a Refugee Ministry Team. We are actively building a team of people from ICC who will be trained and equipped to build relationships, serve, and share hope with the Afghan refugee families when they arrive. You can also give faithfully and generously to ICC to help provide housing for refugee families arriving into Memphis from Afghanistan.
