Welcome to the new MFMC CounterPoint

It is an honor to serve as your new Communications Chair. As a senior club immediate past president, I know all too well the inportance of keeping our membership undated and included. We are an active organization with much to offer, so please keep in touch with your club's special activities.

Finally, thank you for your continued support and CounterPoint contributions.

Kaye Rittinger, MFMC Communications Chair.
A Message from the MFMC President:

Greetings MFMC members,

As we welcome the colorful season of Autumn with all its natural beauty, I look forward to another school year to prepare students for festival, competitions, and recitals. Being a member of this inspiring organization has allowed me, as a private piano and voice teacher, to enter my students in these positive educational experiences. I have also benefited from many informative and wonderful programs as a member of the Vivace Music Club. Being a member of MFMC has so much to offer!

This new season brings another new experience for me as a member of MFMC. It is with great honor and responsibility that I serve you and our organizations State President. I wish to thank Beatrice Wassenberg for her steadfast guidance as she navigated our organization through this pandemic. No one could have anticipated or prepared for the challenges we would face. However, through her guidance and the creative efforts of MFMC Officers and members, we learned to use technology to hold our meetings, festivals, programs, award auditions, and our first ever virtual State Convention. No Pandemic will stop us!

As our new season begins to take off, I look forward to meeting many of you at district meetings, training workshops, and the State Convention. Please take advantage of all that our organization has to offer. Check out our website to stay informed of important dates and other information.

Also, please check the NFMC Awards Chart including the Junior Division and Award offerings as NFMC provides several opportunities for your students. Contact MFMC Festival chair and Representative to NFMC Mary Jane Timmer on all things Festival or contact your local Festival Area Admin to participate. Contact NFMC Junior Division Chair Laurie M. Marshall for Junior Clubs, Memberships, Awards, and Vivace - NFMC Online Festival Management.

Finally, check out the MFMC website for further instructions for submitting Senior and Junior membership dues. Do not hesitate to contact me with your thoughts and concerns.

Together we can keep the vision of our organization strong for generations to come!

Musically yours,

Arlene Anger
