Sunday Morning
This coming Sunday morning , 3rd October at 10.30am., we will share communion together - if you are watching online do have something you can use to join in.
In the morning service we will be thinking about the generosity of Jesus and Louise will be leading and preaching.

 4GIVE L❤️VE IN A B❤️X THIS CHRISTMAS

Teams4U have been doing amazing work.

Last year they sent nearly 50 thousand Christmas shoeboxes to Romania, Belarus, Bosnia and Moldovia. Also, within those countries and further afield such a Georgia, Uganda and Sierra Leone, they support Social projects for poorer families, Feeding banks and stations, the work of Primary Schools and Access to clean water. Their 'Develop with Dignity' project promotes the ending of period shame, providing washable sanitary pads and addressing adolescent sexual health. They also have Vocational training programmes.
Christmas Shoeboxes

There are many ways to be involved in giving a Christmas Shoebox, please pick up a leaflet in Church. There will also be prepared shoeboxes or feel free to decorate your own. There will a larger box for donation of any gifts for the boxes.
Boxes are collected in by early November but it is never too early to start!
Please contact me, Jill Jackson, for any further information. I am happy to deliver leaflets and boxes to your home.

8.  Wirral Festival of Firsts 2021

Do please come and pop into church and enjoy the artists we have (all home grown!) showing their skills, pop up poetry and quiet music. The church will be open on Saturday 2nd October 10-4pm and again after the morning service from 12 noon to 4pm.  You are very welcome.

9. Finally...

Recently, Linda Wilson showed me a coloured photocopy of a small book with a poem written by the writer of today's verses. It is a beautiful book which had been given to her by her great grandmother. Linda has treasured it and wondered what to do with it.  Then she discovered a Frances Havergal Trust based in the United States, who were so grateful to receive Linda's treasured book, where she knows it will be lovingly cared for and enjoyed. So for Linda, here is one of Frances' well known hymns..

Quiz answer : 32 pods, one for each London Borough.
Take my life, and let it be
