  • The Collaborative Partnership on Forests has opened calls to nominate an individual for the Wangari Maathai Forest Champions Award for having improved our forests and the lives of people who depend on them. Deadline 15 October
  • The Interdisciplinary Centre for Conservation Science (University of Oxford) has just announced the A. G. Leventis African Biodiversity Fellowship Programme for African nationals working in biodiversity conservation to spend 3 months in Oxford. Apply by 29 October
