Annual report 20/21 and AGM

Yesterday evening (6th October) we held our Annual General Meeting to take shareholders through our Annual Report, including achievements, finances and a look to the year ahead. We also explored the potential for a General Practice 24/7 model as well how we build a united primary care input to the developing Integrated Care System.

It was great to see so many people joining us and participating in the discussion, thank you. We will be sharing a recording of the session with you as well as asking for your feedback on how the session went.

Extended Access changes for 22/23

As you are probably all aware, PCNs will be taking over the commissioning of the Extended Access contract from 1st April 2022. The specification has yet to land nationally, but PCS have been asked by PCNs to develop a City-wide model which combines feedback from the clinical summit hosted this summer with the views of practices, PCNs, clinicians and managers . We presented the model to PCN CD’s and managers recently, and we have now presented to the CLG (Citywide Locality Group) and received a very positive response also.

We now share with you the slide presentation and the fuller detailed document, please find these attached.  If at any stage you have any questions or points to raise, please do so via pcs.enquiries@nhs.net and we will respond to you directly.

We will be presenting the material at other relevant meetings in the coming weeks, however we want to make sure everyone who wants to, has the opportunity to hear us present the proposal and ask questions first hand.  We shall therefore be running a series of zoom slots.  We understand how busy everyone is, so we have set them across a range of dates at differing times of the day, to allow as many from our stakeholder practices as possible to find a slot they can attend.

Please click the link below to register for the slot you would like to attend. Please also share with your colleagues. We will confirm back directly to all registering for a slot.
