WARNING: IT COULD BE LICENSED TO THRILL.
James Bond is back – with the new movie going on general release tomorrow (Thursday).
Last year I interviewed the owner of Bo’ness Motor Museum about his collection of Bond cars and memorabilia. Appropriately, I’ve uploaded the audio and some pictures to www.theprstore.co.uk/007
The interview was used in an audio guide for the Bo’ness area, hosted on the izi.travel app.
You can download the guide - with the Bond content - and other audio trails here.
Also check out audio trails for the Fife area – produced by The PR Store for the Coalfields Regeneration Trust.
M IS FOR MEDIA RELATIONS (AND WEBSITES)
The last few months has seen me produce a new website for charity Bo’ness Car 4U.
I also handled a PR push by the group, appealing for volunteer drivers.
I’ve also been helping long-time client Bo’net to recruit willing helpers to transform a garden space at Bo’ness Hospital. Again I generated good coverage in print and online.
If you think The PR Store can help you organisation create a website, or get media coverage, please get in touch. Visit the website to find out more.
Q IS FOR QUICHE
And, finally, a Bond story from the past . . . .
One of my very first articles in a newspaper was about 007.
On work experience at The Falkirk Herald, I had to write up a piece about a company in Bonnybridge who made the fancy range cooker used in the Bond caper “A View To A Kill”. In the movie, 007 cooks up a quiche to show his culinary skills.
I typed up the story, and then a wag in the office came up with the headline about the Bond cooker.
“Licensed to grill!” he suggested . . . .
That’s it for now. Please keep in touch.
Best wishes,
